Earnest prayer for my country, Korea

By Dr. Moses

Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter : Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil. (Ecclesiastes 12:13, 14)

“For I did not speak of my own accord, but the Father who sent me commanded me what to say and how to say it. I know that his command leads to eternal life. So whatever I say is just what the Father has told me to say." (John 12:49, 50)

Jesus’ attitude toward the word of God : the command

The core of the command : the eternal life

What I want is to take all the words of God as the royal commands and to obey them : obeying promptly, thoroughly, absolutely, willingly, voluntarily and wholly.

The only reason I obey the word of God : because I love my father to death.

“Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him." (John 14:21)

He who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me. (John 14:24)

We cannot see Jesus in the Korean churches, because they don’t obey the word of God; they don’t love our Father and Jesus.

They love money.
They love sexual immorality.
They love power.
They love position.
They love vested interest.
But they have forsaken their first love. (Rev 2:4)

Father, I’m deeply in love with you. Grant me to join in the blood of the martyrs.
How I wish I could give you my life? I’m eager to lay down my life for you, even if ten times.

Jesus, my loved one. My Lord - who died for me, the worst of all sinners.
I love you Lord, with all my life. I receive your royal command because I love you.
Don’t abandon the churches of our country. Never remove our lampstand from its place.

For the past one year, I’ve obeyed your command
: sleeping three hours a day, fasting and praying for our country.
: fasting for three days and then having a meal, another fasting for three days and then another meal …

I cannot find any clothes that fit, having lost ten kilos in weight. Should I die praying for my country?
What would you say?
More than three thousand churches are closed a year.
Christians are in steadily decreasing numbers, from twelve thousands into just eight hundred.
Christianity is abhorred, whereas non-church Christians are overflowing.
Please don’t throw away Korean churches.

Lord, you commanded me one year ago

“Pray only for your country upon your life. Your country is on the brink of a nuclear war.”
Wake up and pray. Don’t sleep more than three hours a day.”
"Fast for a whole year, just eating not to die.”

Father, I have observed your command!
Please reserve seven thousand in Korea, all whose knees have not bowed down to Baal.

Let them rise up like bees! (1st Kings 19:18)

In Jesus’ Matchless Name I pray.
